XL30 Final Year - 2020

Confirmed

2019 and 2020 are the final production years for the XL30 Sienna (2011-2020). The 2021 Sienna (XL40) is a complete redesign on TNGA-K - hybrid-only AWD, no gas option, entirely new module architecture. No parts cross-over between XL30 and XL40. Shops should maintain platform separation in records.

No Android Auto - 2019 XL30

Confirmed

Entune 3.0 on 2019 XL30 Sienna supports Apple CarPlay but not Android Auto. This is a platform limitation, not a software update issue.

WHAT WE RESOLVE

Common issues on this vehicle

Common Toyota Sienna issues we resolve on this platform: Forward Camera (Monocular), Forward Radar (77GHz), Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Left (BSM), and Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Right (BSM) recalibration after windshield/bumper/suspension/CCM service. Module programming for replacement ECU/PCM, BCM, TCU, or accessory modules - XL30 (3rd Gen, 2011-2020) platform uses Multi-CAN bus (PT-CAN powertrain, Body-CAN, AVC-LAN audio/multimedia); OBD2 DLC Pin 6/14 CAN 500 kbps. Key programming and immobilizer faults - Toyota Immobilizer Gen 4 (AES-128 DST-AES) immobilizer; all-keys-lost supported.

WHEN IS CALIBRATION REQUIRED?

Triggers for ADAS recalibration

Windshield Replacement Affected: TSS-P Forward Camera (PCS, LDA, LTA, AHB)

Static camera calibration required via our Techstream diagnostic software. Toyota target at 3.0 m from vehicle front on level surface. No obstacles in camera field. All TSS-P functions depend on this calibration - do not return vehicle without completing procedure.

Front Bumper Repair or Replacement Affected: TSS-P Forward Radar (PCS, RCC, AEB)

Radar initialization via Techstream. Combine with camera calibration if both disturbed. No physical aiming - replace if mechanically deformed.

Rear Bumper Repair or Replacement Affected: BSM Sensors (XLE+), RCTA

BSM Techstream initialization for any sensor disturbed. Verify BSM function at road speed. Not all trims have BSM - confirm before quoting.

Any Collision Affected: SRS ECU, all ADAS sensors, deployed airbags/pretensioners

Full Techstream module scan mandatory. SRS ECU: replace if DTC 51-xx series present - no crash clear available. All disturbed ADAS modules must be calibrated before delivery.

Smart Key ECU Replacement Affected: All registered Smart Keys

All keys erased on replacement. TIS authorization for AKL scenario. All customer keys present for re-registration via Techstream.

Power Sliding Door or Liftgate ECU Replacement Affected: PSD ECU (L/R), Power Liftgate ECU

Techstream initialization for any replaced PSD or liftgate ECU. Set force/travel limits. Verify pinch protection before delivery.

Wheel Alignment / Suspension Work Affected: Steering Angle Sensor

SAS zero-point calibration via Techstream. Drive straight 35+ mph after reset to confirm SAS learning.

Forward Camera Replacement

Camera module replacement requires full recalibration using Techstream.

Forward Radar Replacement

Radar module replacement requires alignment/calibration using Techstream.

BSM Sensor Replacement

Blind spot monitoring sensor replacement requires calibration using Techstream.

Mirror Replacement

If BSD sensor is mirror-integrated, recalibration required. Verify sensor location; use Techstream if applicable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

How much does ADAS calibration cost for a 2019 Toyota Sienna?

ADAS calibration pricing for a 2019 Toyota Sienna depends on which of its 7 documented systems need work after a repair. This vehicle is documented with Forward Camera (Monocular), Forward Radar (77GHz), Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Left (BSM), Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Right (BSM), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). We provide a fixed quote after confirming the operations performed - send the VIN, the repair scope (windshield R&R, bumper work, alignment, collision), and any DTCs so the quote response can include a real number.

Can you reset the airbag light on a 2019 Toyota Sienna?

Yes. The 2019 Toyota Sienna uses a factory SRS control module that we support. We read and clear stored crash data, then restore the module to factory status so the airbag warning light goes out and the system returns to full operation. Reference part number on this vehicle: 89170-08180. Mobile diagnosis and programming are the active service path. Mail-in bench intake is temporarily unavailable. Send the part number and a description of what triggered the light, and we will provide a quote and scheduling window.

What is needed after replacing the windshield on a 2019 Toyota Sienna?

After windshield replacement on a 2019 Toyota Sienna, Forward Camera (Monocular), Forward Radar (77GHz), and Rear View Camera rely on the forward-facing camera and require recalibration before the systems return to operation. We perform the calibration on-site in the DFW Metroplex with OE target fixtures. Mail-in intake is temporarily unavailable.

How long does a 2019 Toyota Sienna module service take?

Most 2019 Toyota Sienna onsite jobs are typically scheduled within 24-48 hours once vehicle readiness, access, and route timing are confirmed. This vehicle has roughly 23 programmable modules documented in our database (3 ECU, 5 BCM, 1 TCU, 5 ABS, plus IPC/SAS/gateway/accessory). Mobile module work and ADAS calibration are scheduled in the DFW service area after quote review. Mail-in module intake is temporarily unavailable.

Do you cover the 2019 Toyota Sienna on-site, or is this mail-in only?

We run a mobile unit across the DFW Metroplex for on-vehicle work (ADAS calibration, key programming, IMMO pairing, post-repair recoding, and supported module work). Mail-in module intake is temporarily unavailable. Quote the work and we will confirm the active service path for the 2019 Toyota Sienna. Do not ship a module unless support confirms next steps.

What kind of warranty do you offer on 2019 Toyota Sienna programming?

Every programming, cloning, and calibration job on the 2019 Toyota Sienna is backed by a workmanship warranty covering the scope of work we performed: 1-year unlimited on all flashes, clones, and ADAS calibrations. If a module we programmed or a calibration we performed fails to function as expected, return it and we restore it at no charge. The warranty covers our work; it does not cover unrelated mechanical or electrical failure of the module itself.

Can you program a 2019 Toyota Sienna with no working keys (all-keys-lost)?

Yes - all-keys-lost is supported on the 2019 Toyota Sienna. Immobilizer generation on this platform: Toyota Immobilizer Gen 4 (AES-128 DST-AES). Adding a key (with a working key already in hand) is also supported - typically faster and less expensive than an all-keys-lost reset. Submit the VIN and we will confirm the procedure and quote before scheduling.

Which modules on a 2019 Toyota Sienna can you actually service?

We program, clone, repair, or replace the full programmable-module stack on a 2019 Toyota Sienna. For this vehicle our database documents:

  • 3 engine control (ECU/PCM)
  • 1 transmission control (TCU/TCM)
  • 5 body control (BCM and related)
  • 5 ABS / brake control (EBCM)
  • 1 immobilizer / security
  • 2 key & fob
  • 2 instrument cluster (IPC)
  • 2 steering angle sensor (SAS)
  • 7 ADAS module

Send the VIN and the operations performed and we will confirm support and pricing.
