What to include in your request

Start with what you have. We'll ask for anything else we need.

Your location and what you need help with

Describe what is happening, when it started, and anything already repaired or replaced. You don't need to diagnose the problem yourself.

Clear label photos or part numbers for the original and replacement modules
Whether you have the original, a new or used replacement, or both
Current fault codes and details of any programming already attempted

A replacement may need programming or configuration. We review the module and vehicle before confirming the setup procedure.

Keep the original module. Cloning depends on the data available from it and a compatible replacement. Tell us if the original is missing or unreadable.

Tell us what tool or process was used, what happened during programming, and whether the module still communicates. We will review whether recovery is possible.

Mail-in may be an option after review. Some procedures also require the vehicle.

A fault code identifies something to investigate. It does not by itself prove that a module needs replacement.

Vehicle diagnostics are performed onsite in the DFW service area. Include where the vehicle is located.

Alignment status, warning messages, and any scan report

Before buying or sending a module

Keep the original

Even a module that appears dead may contain data needed for the job. Keep it until we confirm the service path, including before returning it as a core.

Check the replacement first

Matching connectors or a similar part number do not confirm compatibility. Send the VIN and photos of both labels before buying a donor, when possible.

Share the repair history

Tell us whether the replacement is new, used, or remanufactured, and include previous programming attempts and current fault codes.

Nationwide mail-in module review

Some programming, cloning, recovery, and module repair work can be performed on the bench. Submit your details first. If accepted, we'll send the final quote, receiving address, and packing instructions.

Wait for those instructions before shipping. Some work still needs setup or verification on the vehicle.
