Independent Service
Module programming partner for independent shops without OEM tooling or factory access.
OEM software subscriptions, dealer side scan tools, and security gateway accounts add up fast, and most independent shops cannot justify the cost on the volume of programming work that walks through the bay. We act as your on call programming department. You diagnose and replace the part; we handle the flash, the gateway authorization, and the post replacement adapt cycle, then ship the vehicle back to you.
Where the work breaks, and how we fix it
Three failure modes shops in this vertical hit constantly, paired with the way we resolve each one.
- The problem
OEM software subscriptions are not worth it at low volume
Annual seat licenses, training time, and J2534 hardware add up to thousands per platform. We carry the licenses on every major platform so you do not have to.
Our fixOEM software on 40 plus platforms
Engine, transmission, body, instrument cluster, and key programming on domestic, Asian, and European platforms. If your scan tool says "see dealer", we are the dealer.
- The problem
Security gateway lockouts on newer vehicles
FCA SGW, GM SGM, and Ford security gateways block third party tools from writing modules. We hold authorized credentials and pass through the gateway every time.
Our fixMobile to your shop or mail in bench service
Mobile dispatch in DFW for jobs where the vehicle has to stay on your lift. Mail in pricing for ECU and TCM bench work from anywhere in the lower 48.
- The problem
Customer goes to the dealer mid job
Once you tell the customer the module needs dealer programming, you have lost the vehicle. With us you keep the job, the labor, and the relationship.
Our fixFlat rate quotes under 4 hours
Send the VIN and the part number; the quote response includes flat rate pricing and scheduling guidance. No clock and bill surprises.
Quote, dispatch, verified handback
A simple three-step workflow tuned for independent service jobs.
- 01Send the VIN and module scopeText the VIN, scan report, part number, and whether the car is movable. We confirm whether this is worth outsourcing instead of buying another subscription.
- 02Choose mobile or mail-inWe dispatch for on-vehicle programming, security authorization, and relearns, or receive the module for bench cloning, repair, and recovery work.
- 03Return it to your workflowYou get the programmed vehicle or module back with verification notes, relearn status, and a flat-rate invoice your shop can bill from.
Services for this work
Start with the service path that matches the vehicle, module, or calibration issue already in front of your team.
Questions before you send the job
Answers to the objections that usually come up before a quote is approved.
When should we call you instead of buying OEM access?
Call us when the platform is occasional, the tool setup is not already paid for, or the job needs security, coding, or relearn support your shop does not do every week. If you see the same platform daily, owning access may make sense.
How do you handle security gateways?
We use authorized access and document the work. We do not bypass theft or security rules, and immobilizer or key work must be tied to a legitimate repair order.
How do we choose mobile versus mail-in?
Mobile is best when the vehicle must be powered, scanned, paired, adapted, or road verified. Mail-in is best when the module can be removed and the vehicle can wait for bench work.
What turnaround should we promise the customer?
Quote timing comes back with the flat-rate estimate. Ready mobile jobs are scheduled by dispatch availability, while mail-in timing starts when the module arrives and passes intake.
How does billing work for the shop?
We quote the shop before dispatch or bench work starts, then invoice the shop after verification. Your customer relationship stays with you unless you ask us to coordinate directly.
Ready to move the next independent service job?
Send the VIN, part number, or symptom and we will route the job to the right quote path.
