WHEN IS CALIBRATION REQUIRED?

Triggers for ADAS recalibration

Windshield Replacement

TSS-P 2.0 forward camera static calibration REQUIRED. Techstream calibration menu: vehicle on level surface, Toyota target board at 3.0m ± 0.05m from front center of vehicle. No objects within 3m FOV. Horizontal alignment within 5mm of centerline. Approximately 2 min via Techstream. CAMRY-SPECIFIC: camera bracket angle differs from RAV4 - use Camry WSM target height specifications.

Forward Camera (TSS) Replacement

Confirm part 86790-06010 (Camry TSS-P 2.0 - do NOT substitute RAV4 86790-0R010). Techstream camera initialization + static calibration per windshield procedure. Verify all TSS DTC clear before road test.

Forward Radar Replacement

Gas: 88210-06030 / Hybrid: 88210-42050. Techstream radar boresight check after replacement. Level surface, no metallic objects in forward FOV. Front bumper/grille reinstalled before final calibration.

BSM Sensor Replacement (XSE/TRD)

Techstream BSM sensor initialization. Rear bumper corner - no physical aiming adjustment available. Verify BSM and RCTA DTC clear. Road test at 20+ mph with adjacent vehicle to confirm detection.

ECM Replacement

Techstream ECM programming via TIS calibration file + VIN registration + IMMO coding. Injector compensation data entry (QR code scan per injector). Throttle body zero-point calibration. V6: port and direct injector data both required. Hybrid: HV disable first.

Skid Control ECU (ABS / VSC) Replacement

Techstream ABS/VSC initialization. Steering angle sensor zero-point calibration: Techstream SAS reset, then drive straight at 35+ mph on level road. VSC warning remains until SAS calibration completes. Hybrid: regenerative braking parameter verify.

Smart Key ECU / Body ECU Replacement

TIS dealer authorization required. All customer keys must be present before procedure begins. Techstream Smart Key registration procedure. Verify all keys start vehicle after completion. Max 8 keys can be registered.

Wheel Alignment / Steering Component

Techstream steering angle sensor zero-point reset required after any steering component service or alignment. Drive straight at 35+ mph on level road to complete SAS self-learning. Confirm no VSC/ABS DTC.

Forward Camera Replacement

Camera module replacement requires full recalibration using Techstream.

Any Front-End Collision

Inspect and recalibrate forward camera after any front-end collision using Techstream.

Front Bumper Repair or Replacement

Forward radar angular alignment required after front bumper R&R. Use Techstream.

Rear Bumper Repair or Replacement

BSD radar alignment required after rear bumper R&R. Use Techstream.

Mirror Replacement

If BSD sensor is mirror-integrated, recalibration required. Verify sensor location; use Techstream if applicable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

How much does ADAS calibration cost for a 2019 Toyota Camry?

ADAS calibration pricing for a 2019 Toyota Camry depends on which of its 7 documented systems need work after a repair. This vehicle is documented with Forward Camera (Monocular), Forward Radar (77GHz), Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Left (BSM), Blind Spot Monitor Sensor - Right (BSM), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). We provide a fixed quote after confirming the operations performed - send the VIN, the repair scope (windshield R&R, bumper work, alignment, collision), and any DTCs so the quote response can include a real number.

Can you reset the airbag light on a 2019 Toyota Camry?

Yes. The 2019 Toyota Camry uses a factory SRS control module that we support. We read and clear stored crash data, then restore the module to factory status so the airbag warning light goes out and the system returns to full operation. Reference part number on this vehicle: 89170-06641. Mobile diagnosis and programming are the active service path. Mail-in bench intake is temporarily unavailable. Send the part number and a description of what triggered the light, and we will provide a quote and scheduling window.

What is needed after replacing the windshield on a 2019 Toyota Camry?

After windshield replacement on a 2019 Toyota Camry, Forward Camera (Monocular) and Forward Radar (77GHz) rely on the forward-facing camera and require recalibration before the systems return to operation. We perform the calibration on-site in the DFW Metroplex with OE target fixtures. Mail-in intake is temporarily unavailable.

How long does a 2019 Toyota Camry module service take?

Most 2019 Toyota Camry onsite jobs are typically scheduled within 24-48 hours once vehicle readiness, access, and route timing are confirmed. This vehicle has roughly 31 programmable modules documented in our database (8 ECU, 4 BCM, 2 TCU, 6 ABS, plus IPC/SAS/gateway/accessory). Mobile module work and ADAS calibration are scheduled in the DFW service area after quote review. Mail-in module intake is temporarily unavailable.

Do you cover the 2019 Toyota Camry on-site, or is this mail-in only?

We run a mobile unit across the DFW Metroplex for on-vehicle work (ADAS calibration, key programming, IMMO pairing, post-repair recoding, and supported module work). Mail-in module intake is temporarily unavailable. Quote the work and we will confirm the active service path for the 2019 Toyota Camry. Do not ship a module unless support confirms next steps.

What kind of warranty do you offer on 2019 Toyota Camry programming?

Every programming, cloning, and calibration job on the 2019 Toyota Camry is backed by a workmanship warranty covering the scope of work we performed: 1-year unlimited on all flashes, clones, and ADAS calibrations. If a module we programmed or a calibration we performed fails to function as expected, return it and we restore it at no charge. The warranty covers our work; it does not cover unrelated mechanical or electrical failure of the module itself.

Can you program a 2019 Toyota Camry with no working keys (all-keys-lost)?
